lyon is the former capital of the Gaule this is why you can visit "the old Lyon" where you can take passageways in old building dating back to Middle Age , you can see the Roman amphitheater , the Basilica of "Notre Dame de fourviere" ,the garden of Fourviere and the gallo-roman museum.We can take many means of transport such as the bus , the streetcar , taxi , subway , velo'v ,and funicular which takes you up to Fourviere .
Lyon is also a city where you can shop because there are many stores and malls such as " la part-dieu" which is a mall with over 260 stores (lacoste,kaporal,tommy hilfilgher,zara....)
you can also taste the food Lyon is famous more particularly for those "Quenelles" in prestigious restaurants such as " chez Paul" ; "la nouvelle marmitte".... and many others.
