The All-American Rejects

The All American Reject is an American alternative rock and power pop band which was created in 1999 in the state of Oklahoma, exactly in Stillwater. He was founded by two guys, Tyson Ritter, the lead vocalist and Nick Wheeler, the lead guitarist.

The name of the band comes from two suggestions: "The All-Americans" and "The rejects".

In 2002, their first album untitled "The All-American Rejects" was originally released. The album went on to sell over one million records in the United States.

Shortly after, two new guys joined the band: Mike Kennerty, who played rhythm at the guitar and Chris Gaylor, at the drums.

In the summer 2005, they released their second album untitled "Move Along". The album produced three hit singles: "Move Along"; "Dirty Little Secret" and "It Ends Tonight".

In 2006, they won the award of "Best Group Video" and "Best Pop Video" with "Move Along".

Three years after "Move Along" was released, the group's third album "When The World Comes Down" was released on December 16, 2008. In this album, one song stands out: "Gives You Hell". In the same year, they won two new awards: "The rising Star" and the "ASCAP Vanguard Award".

Since the start of their career, The All-American Rejects have sold over 10millions records world wide.
